In September 2025, I completed my certification in Nutritional Therapy after a year-long training that deepened my understanding of how food, lifestyle, and supplements form the foundation of health. This training did not appear out of nowhere — it was the natural continuation of a lifelong journey.
For decades, I’ve had a quiet but persistent fascination with herbs, plants, and nutrient-dense foods. What began as an effort to help friends and family struggling with illness became an unfolding path of discovery. I learned that the nutrient density of our food has declined significantly over the last 50 years, leaving gaps that modern diets often cannot fill. Supplements and targeted food choices became tools not only for survival, but for resilience and vitality.
My own perimenopausal and menopausal journey sharpened this focus. Shifts in hormones bring challenges that can ripple into sleep, energy, digestion, mood, and even movement. Supporting the body with strong nutritional foundations — blood sugar balance, mineral support, quality fats and proteins, and a mindful relationship with food — made all the difference in how I felt and moved through transition.
These foundations are simple, but powerful. They can:
For me, nutritional support is never about restriction or chasing the latest trend. It’s about finding realistic, sustainable shifts that restore balance. The smallest change — a mineral-rich tonic in the morning, a protein-balanced meal, a supplement carefully chosen to meet a real need — can ripple outward into better sleep, steadier moods, and greater ease in movement.
Nutrition has always been at the root of my curiosity. Certification simply gave me the language, science, and framework to bring this passion forward in service to others. Whether you are navigating perimenopause, menopause, or simply want to feel stronger and clearer in your everyday life, nutritional foundations provide a grounded path to renewal.
