This session will start you on the path of discovery in our National Parks. The speaker Rita Naomi has homeschooled her son in the National Parks since 2016. Having spent time in 130 National Parks and Monuments out of almost 420, from Alaska to the East Coast of the USA, she will offer guidance and answer your questions on how to get out and discover our nation’s greatest natural treasures.

But what if you are just not getting it inside? Or you want to deepen your appreciation of the outdoors? Or like most people, stuck in your current mind-stream and feeling challenged to detach from it? Come join experienced mindfulness practitioner and yoga teacher Rita Naomi as she leads a guided mindfulness practice outdoors. She has been to over 130 National Parks and Monuments, from Alaska to the US east coast, and has found these techniques apply everywhere. You will leave with connection inside and out, and a handout to foster your practice.

The teacher, Rita Naomi, has been a practicing healer for over 30 years, as a yoga teacher, physical therapist, and mindfulness practitioner. Over the last 4 years she has homeschooled her son in the National Parks, leading him to over 130 National Parks and Monuments from Alaska to the East Coast of the USA. In several National Parks around the country, she has taught yoga outdoors, and led small groups to the Tetons, Shenandoahs, and other locations. Join us for a nurturing and joyful experience. The Solstice is a time of the year to go within and connect with our deepest intentions so that we may go forward into the New Year with clarity. Whether it is the shortest day or the longest day, the light and dark within seek to be made known so that you can heal and live wholeheartedly. The day will include morning yoga, mindfulness based activities, guided meditation, journaling, and a campfire.
