Warm breakfast. Paleo. No grain. Nut free. Gluten free. Vegan. Raw. Easy.

Warm breakfast cereal this morning. Tastes great. Anti inflammatory properties, nourishing and warming for the body. Fresh spices are better if you have them. Takes 5 minutes at most.

1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp cardamon
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger (grate fresh if you have)
1/8 tsp nutmeg (grate fresh if you have)
1/8 tsp cloves
fresh lemon zest if want

If have time, freshly grate ginger, nutmeg and pound cardmom and cloves. Otherwise put powdered spices in a bag with sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Pound seeds and spices with rolling pin until somewhat broken up but seeds not powdered or pulverized. Warm in pan w sesame seeds, spices and coconut milk and a dollop of maple syrup. If you don’t like the heaviness of the coconut milk, do half coconut milk and rice milk. Or almond milk.
